The 16-piece collective fuses West African rhythms with the creative energy of London’s contemporary jazz, soul and hip-hop scenes, forging a sound that’s both rooted and forward-thinking.

Having collaborated with artists including Obongjayar, Afronaut Zu, and Davido, Balimaya Project continue to redefine the sound of African diasporic expression — bold, spiritual, and profoundly human.
