The Luther Vandross Experience - Performed by "JAS" The Entertainer

The Luther Vandross Experience is literally a recapturing of the essence of the late, great Luther Vandross. Performed by "JAS" The Entertainer, his band and background, this audio and visual re-creation of the songs of Luther Vandross will captivate you and move you in ways you've never been.
JAS The Entertainer (nee LaShuan A. Johnson) was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He was submerged and surround by the rich culture of Chicago music, and was further inspired by his mother, Elaine and her four sisters who were singers.

LaShuan attended Lindblom Technical High School in Chicago and received numerous awards for musical performances under the tutelage of his music teacher, John Gans. Mr. Gans introduced LaShuan to all forms of music, from classical Arias to Foreign Ballads. After graduation, he attended Benedictine University where he received vocal instructions from Professor Emerita, Rosalie Loeding, and renowned jazz artist Janice Borla.
LaShuan has performed with many groups, The Unit, The Next Phase Band, “US” to name a few. His collaboration with Van Fields and the Stylistics Revue, is his claim to fame.
LaShuan has gone on to perform in many venues and as recently as 2012, honed his performance of the late Luther Vandross entitled “The Luther Vandross Experience featuring JAS.” His performances of Luther Vandross’s hits have been said to be the best ever.
