Ride for Rocco

Ride for Rocco is a motorcycle fundraiser and community gathering held in honour of our son, Rocco Reign De Abreu.
During our anatomy scan, we learned that Rocco had a severe condition called LUTO (Lower Urinary Tract Obstruction), which had already caused significant complications by the time it was discovered. Throughout this entire experience, the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) team at McMaster Children’s Hospital provided our family with the utmost care and compassion that we so deeply needed during this time. Their continued support, kindness, and presence has made an impact on our family that we will never forget.
To honour Rocco’s life and give back to the team who helped carry us through such a difficult time, we are hosting Ride for Rocco on Saturday, August 15th.
The day will begin with a motorcycle ride through Hamilton, ending at Winona Park for a community gathering in honour of Rocco featuring food, raffle prizes, music, and remembrance. Route details will be provided closer to the date of the event.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to support the MFM team at McMaster Children’s Hospital.
