Led by guitarist and vocalist Tim Robertson (also known as The Sarge), the band takes the complex, ambitious ideas of avant-garde jazz, combines them with the energy of rock and roll, and fits them into tight pop songs. What sets SGT DORK apart is their unique form of social commentary. Robertsons lyrics are observational rather than introspective, focusing on the quirks of daily life in New Orleans.
