Netball - Performance Pathway Trials - U17 Academy (NPL & PDP) 2026/27

 
DUE TO EN RULES, PLAYERS WHO ARE U15 (Year 10 and below) ARE NOT TO ATTEND U17 NPL/PDP TRIALS. IF YOU ARE U15 PLEASE ATTEND OUR U15FPC TRIALS ON MONDAY, FROM THERE WE WILL INVITE ANY EXCEPTIONAL ELIGIBLE PLAYERS TO OUR FINAL TRIALS.

The Nottingham Forest Pathway is one of the providers of the England Netball Performance Pathway. We are focused and working closely with England netballs framework to provide opportunities to the next generation of netballers within our region. We aspire to build strong connections with the community to work together to deliver an elite environment that allows development and growth over all age groups.

At these trials, we will be selecting a squad of 20 for our NPL squad and players for our 4 U17 PDP (Player Development Programmes).

Eligibility
Aged under 17 at 23:59 on 31st December 2026 (i.e., for the 2026/27 season, players must have a date of birth from 2010 to 2012). 

Trials
Stage 1 
Due to the expected high level of trialists, we are offering 4 open trial options for players to keep the numbers of players at each session manageable. Please only book 1 open trial session.

Option 1 - Wednesday 9th September 2026. 17:30-20:00 
Option 2 - Wednesday 9th September 2026. 19:30-22:00
Option 3 - Thursday 10th September 2026. 17:30-20:00
Option 4 - Thursday 10th September 2026. 19:30-22:00

Final - Tuesday 15th September 2026. 18:00-21:00
