Born in Sicily and based in Kingston, Jamaica, he has built a unique musical identity by blending the depth of Jamaican tradition with a modern, global sound rooted in authenticity, consciousness and musical craftsmanship. After moving to Jamaica, Alborosie worked at the legendary Geejam Studios, where he refined his skills as a producer and musician alongside some of the islands most respected artists, engineers and producers. His deep connection with Jamaican culture and sound soon shaped a powerful solo career, marked by acclaimed albums and international anthems such as Kingston Town, Herbalist, Still Blazing and Rastafari Anthem.
