Home Composting 101 (Online)

Learn the science behind and the benefits of home composting, including information on different composting methods, recommended compostable materials, and common uses of compost around the yard and garden. This class is offered by the U of M Extension Garden Education volunteers of Ramsey County, who are eager to share research-based gardening best practices with the people in their community.

Cost: $5/free for co-op owners

 
This class will be offered online via the Zoom app so you won't have to leave your house. After registration, an email link to join this presentation through Zoom will be emailed to you as well as a handout that we will be using in the class. Please plan to connect to the Zoom meeting 5-10 minutes early to troubleshoot the technology and get settled in before class starts.
