Visit Durham, one of England's most enchanting cities, where you can explore the magnificent Durham Cathedral, a stunning example of Romanesque architecture. Meet at the Parkinson Building steps at 8:45am to depart at 9am.
This trip is not guided, once we reach Durham, you are free to explore the city on your own. An email will be sent out at least 1 day before the trip detailing the official travel itinerary and a list of recommended places to visit within the city.
We will be arriving back in Leeds at approximately 6:40 pm (depending on traffic).
Ticket includes direct transport to Durham and a direct return back to Leeds via a private coach hire.
Entrance to the Cathedral is free. Pick-up/Drop-off will be at Parkinson Steps.
The coaches will have a toilet on board and passengers will be fellow University of Leeds students.
A trip leader will be present for the trip and they will be your first point of contact on the day.
If you are late during pick up/drop off, there will be a phone number available - which will be emailed to you- for you to contact the trip leader on the day so they can inform the coaches to wait for you.
Please be aware, the coaches can only wait for a maximum of 10 minutes IF the trip leader has been informed.
All tickets are non-refundable.
