The Patrick O'Keeffe Traditional Music Festival classes/workshops take place from on Saturday 24th of October at 11am.
Please note that all workshops will take place on College Road, Castleisland. Classes will be held in either St. Patrick's Boys' School or Gaelscoil Aogáin. On the morning of each class, clear signage will be in place to indicate the correct venue.
Thomas is a highly accomplished musician from Ballyduff Upper, Co. Waterford. He is an All-Ireland Senior Banjo champion and multi-award winner on mandolin and bodhrán. He is a much sought after tutor at festivals such as Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy.
Thomas is a member of the Glór na dTonn Ceilí Band, and the Comhaltas National Folk Orchestra. He has also toured extensively; around Ireland & the UK with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, and around Europe as part of the 25th Guinness Irish Christmas Tour!
