Gather with area church choral directors, accompanists, choir members, and singers to explore new and exciting church choir music arrangements covering all seasons, all levels, and multiple voicings. Work closely with world renowned composers and enjoy this day of singing with your colleagues and friends while sharing ideas, making lasting connections, and exploring amazing new music penned by a variety of familiar and new composers. 

MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

Joseph Martin
After earning his master’s degree in piano performance at the University of Texas in Austin, Joseph Martin remained to teach in the Piano Pedagogy department. He has composed and recorded hundreds of commissioned works, with over 2,000 compositions currently in print. He is a Dove Award nominee and a John Ness Beck Foundation Award recipient. He is an artist in residence at Concordia University in Austin, and he is also a staff member at Hal Leonard and the director of sacred publications at Shawnee Press.

Joel Raney
Joel Raney sharpened his keyboard skills while earning a master’s degree in piano performance at the Juilliard School. He has produced over 250 print titles and four solo CDs, conducted national tours of Broadway productions in Chicago and Los Angeles, and written more than 2,000 television and radio commercial soundtracks, as well as numerous scores for short films. He serves as minister of music at the First Baptist Church of Oak Park in Illinois, performs throughout North America, and remains a sought-after choral and keyboard clinician.
